Commercial Bank of Dubai opens new digital kiosk in Mirdif City Centre

Commercial Bank of Dubai today announced the opening of its digital kiosk in Mirdif City Centre.

One of the key features of the kiosk is the user friendly digital platforms and technologies that provide customers with the right tools to simplify their overall banking experience allowing them to interact with the bank in exciting new ways. The kiosk is equipped with tablets to showcase the bank products and services, and provide customers with access to the Bank’s website. The kiosk also boasts an Interactive Wall and table devices.

Customers can open any type of account, learn more about CBD’s retail offerings and apply for all retail banking products. The kiosk also allows clients to  Experience CBD’s new host of quick apps and the newly developed Active Saver App.

This is one additional example of how CBD is progressing on its expansion plans to increase the Bank’s footprint and enhance customer service across the UAE. Most recently, CBD has made significant efforts to grow its banking services to meet growing customer demands by offering them the latest banking technologies. During the first half of 2015, CBD opened three new branches incorporating the latest technologies: the digital kiosk (the spark) at the Higher Colleges of Technology campus, Ras Al Khaimah and Village Mall Abu Dhabi.

Over the past years, CBD has launched a wide range of innovative products and services starting with the launch of the first Virtual Assistant “Sarah” and the Facebook Branch. CBD has also recently released a unique mobile application, “CBD Active Saver” that allows fitness-conscious customers to be rewarded with higher interest rates on their savings in line with their levels of physical activity.

The bank has also launched 3 new mobile applications designed to help customers manage their personal account easily and securely from their mobile phone.  “Fast Balance” allows customers to check their account balance on the go, receive regular updates on their accounts, view mini statements and download current statements. “Easy Transfer” offers quick transfer services to CBD accounts and other UAE accounts, as well as international transfers and remittance. “Quick Pay” lets customers pay their utility billsvia the mobile, add new bill payments easily, and keep track of pending bills. It also offers the option to schedule transfers and bill payments.
