Terms and Conditions

• Cards approved until 30 April 2023 will receive 70,000 Welcome Smiles bonus points subject to achieving retail spends of AED 7,500 within 90 days of card issuance while cards approved between 1 May 2023 and 30 June 2023 will receive 20,000 Welcome Smiles bonus points subject to AED 3,000 spends in 90 days. Points shall be awarded within 45 days of completing 90 days spend period. Welcome Smiles bonus points will not be granted on cards approved post 30 June 2023.

• Smiles Welcome benefits and Bonus points are awarded to customers who will take a new Smiles Credit Card and are not applicable for customers who will convert their existing non-Smiles Credit Card into a Smiles Credit Card. Moreover, Customers who have cancelled their Smiles Credit Card in the last 6 months and then reapplied for the same card are not eligible to qualify for Welcome benefits and Bonus points.

• * Annual Fee: Smiles Platinum Credit Card is offered first year free. Annual Fee of AED 199 will be levied in the beginning of second year and thereon in beginning of each year. Annual Fee shall be waived automatically upon achieving an annual cumulative spend of AED 12,000 in the previous year.
• Smiles points value differs based on the type of redemption selected by the customer and is governed as per Smiles T&Cs and Bank has no control over the redemption value of Smiles points.
  
• Subscription to ‘Unlimited Buy 1 Get 1’: provided by Smiles in the Smiles app within 3 working days from card issuance date. Smiles shall initially activate the subscription for 90 days and during the end of 90 days Smiles shall extend the subscription for additional 9 months subject to cardholder continuing to use Smiles Platinum card for purchases.

• Yallacompare.com: discount voucher shall be issued in the ‘voucher’ section of Smiles app within 30 days of cards issuance and shall be valid for 1 year from date of issuance.
