CBD Credit Cards are more secure in association with Verified by Visa and MasterCard Secure Code. It will help you to protect your cards against unauthorized use. When you perform online transactions, you will receive your one time password (OTP) on your mobile number. Learn more

Dedicated fraud monitoring team will get in touch with you if there are suspicious transactions. Alternatively, if you suspect any fraudulent transactions, call us on 600 575 556 immediately.

Travelling Abroad

When you are going abroad

• While travelling abroad, use your credit card just as you would at home.
• You can use the card in most countries worldwide – both for shopping and withdrawing cash.
• If you need to speak to us while you are abroad, you can contact us on the number displayed on the back of your credit card or call us on +971 600 575 556.

Before you travel

• So we know to expect international card use, ensure you tell us your destination and departure date. Please inform us in advance by calling 600 575 556.
• Check your credit card to make sure it doesn’t expire while you are abroad.
• Consider setting up standing order instructions to cover any payments due while you are away. Alternatively, you can always use CBD Online Banking, Mobile Banking

Ways to make your Credit Card Payment

Paying your CBD Credit Card due is now easier than ever before with a wide range of payment options:

Mobile Banking

You can pay your Credit Card outstanding balance via the CBD Mobile App. It’s simple, transfer the credit card due amount directly from your CBD Account in seconds and enjoy hassle free payments on your credit card.

Standing instructions

Set up a ‘Standing Instruction’ for total outstanding due or minimum amount due from CBD Mobile App and we will automatically debit your CBD Account by the payment due date towards your credit card payment.

Direct Debit  

Direct Debit (UAEDDS) is a way to pay for your CBD Credit Card dues from your other bank account. You can set up a direct debit by signing a Direct Debit Mandate form, by visiting your nearest CBD branch. We will then set up the rest and claim the payment amount directly from your other bank account on the agreed date.

Account transfer

Transfer funds from your other bank account to your CBD Credit Card. Bank transfers can take up to 3 working days. Please ensure payments are made in time to avoid any delays.

Exchange houses

Visit any Al Ansari Exchange or Al Fardan Exchange branches with your Emirates ID or passport for identification. Provide your CBD Credit Card number and amount that you would like to pay and enjoy convenient payments at no additional service fee. Nominal service fee may be applicable for payments made through other Exchange houses. Payments made through Exchanges houses can take up to 2 working days to reflect on your CBD Credit Card. Please ensure payments are made in time to avoid any delays.

CDM 

Visit your nearest CBD branch and pay for your credit card dues directly through Cash Deposit Machines (CDMs). Payments made after 9 p.m. will reflect on the next working day.

Payments by cheque

Visit your nearest CBD branch and pay for your credit card dues directly through Cheque Deposit Machines (CDMs). Cheque clearing can take up to 5 working days. Please ensure payments are made in time to avoid any delays.

Payments made through CBD CDMs (cash or cheque), CBD Online Banking/Mobile Banking/ Standing Instructions are free of cost.
