    • If you are a CBD customer, but not registered for CBD Online Banking, you need to register first. Registering is quick and easy.
    • If you are not a CBD customer, you can pay Zakat through our branches as well as using CBD cash deposit machines by inputting relevant Zakat account numbers. You can calculate your Zakat Al Mal here.

What are the available charity organisation options I can select to pay my Zakat?

You can select either of the below charity organisations to pay your Zakat;

  1. Zakat Fund
  2. Bait Al Khair  
Will my statement of accounts display the type of Zakat I paid?
No, your periodical statement of accounts will show complete description of the amounts you paid towards Zakat.

Is there maximum amount cap for payment of Zakat from my account?
No. There is no maximum cap to pay the Zakat amount. However, you need to ensure that sufficient balance is available in the account to cover the Zakat payment.

Can I pay Zakat from my CBD credit cards?
No. You can pay your Zakat by debiting your savings or current accounts only.

Can I pay Zakat in cash?

Yes, you can pay Zakat in cash through our branches or our CDMs (cash deposit machines) by inputting relevant Zakat account numbers.

How can I pay Zakat from my CBD accounts?
If you are registered CBD Online Banking customer, you can pay your Zakat by logging into CBD Online Banking. Under Transfers you will find Zakat option.
